"The greatest tragedy in life is not so much failure, but rather climbing the ladder of success and finding out that it is up against the wrong wall". - J. Campbell

a journey from uncertainty to action

EXPLORE. DREAM. DISCOVER.

This programme aims to help you take a journey from uncertainty about your present career and not knowing what your next step might be, through to having a clear vision of a career that is absolutely right for you, and a plan for how to create it. The programme has been designed in three phases, each of which has been named after an inspiring quotation from Mark Twain:

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails.

Explore. Dream. Discover.”

The programme in brief

Step 1: Explore
Step 2: Dream
Step 3: Discover

Client Voice

“I thought you might like to know that I received a Distinction in my MA in Museum and Galleries studies. Mia likes to remind me that I said “NO WAY, I’m too old” when you asked whether I wanted to do any more studying. I could not have done this without your brilliant help and support, making me challenge my beliefs and helping to rebuild my confidence, encouraging me to step outside the box. It seems to fit like a glove now, being a Museum Professional.”

– Rob Patterson, a new lease on life and work, age 55

How the Programme works

How long is the programme?

The full programme takes approx. 12 sessions (a 2-hour induction session followed by 11 hour-long sessions). We schedule 2 to 3 sessions per month to ensure momentum while allowing you time to absorb the information you’re discovering about yourself.

Rome wasn’t built in a day

This programme requires commitment and time. Besides the coaching sessions, you need to allocate approximately 2 to 3 hours between sessions for “homework”, especially during the Explore phase of the program.

Where do coaching sessions take place?

All sessions are one-to-one with me online, by phone or face-to-face, depending on location.

One size does not fit all

I steer clear of the "one-size-fits-all" approach and cookie-cutter methodologies. While rooted in coaching principles, my method is tailored to each client's unique needs, goals, and preferences. I leverage a range of techniques to create an experiential journey that resonates personally, allowing us to collaboratively determine the most effective approach for your growth.

Continual development

At the end of the DISCOVER phase, some clients continue on their journey alone while others decide to continue with coaching.  It’s entirely up to you.

Bonuses
  • If you find yourself feeling stuck or needing guidance between sessions, I include up to 4 “check in” calls for a quick 15 minutes chat.
  • Email support for 60 days after completion of the programme to keep you on track and in action.
