let me introduce myself
Hi! I’m Nathalie from Shanduko Rwendo
I’ve been where you are…I rapidly moved up the corporate ladder and was thrust into a leadership position. I felt unsupported, confused, overwhelmed and lost in this new position and with the added expectations and pressures that came with it. My early optimism was replaced by a lack of confidence that only grew as I lost the respect of my team and was failing at my job.
My own life has been a testament to resilience and perseverance. I’ve faced setbacks and hurdles, grappled with self-doubt, and even battled with depression. But I’ve always remained a fighter, driven by the belief that life is meant to be lived to the fullest. I understand the struggles you face because I’ve been there myself, and I’m here to support you to the other side.
But first, let’s start at the beginning…
“Nathalie played an integral role in my career change and without her I truly believe that I would not be where I am today. Her bubbly personality and eagerness to go the extra mile really made my dealings with her a true pleasure. I felt that she really cared about me and my success. Nathalie is a very special person and I highly recommend her”.

From an early age, growing up in South Africa with Belgian parents, I became acutely aware of cultural differences and developed a profound appreciation for people from diverse backgrounds. This diversity has also been a defining aspect of my career. Starting in banking, transitioning to the corporate world, and later immersing myself in IT, I eventually found my home in learning and development. In the 90s I founded and grew a training consultancy in South Africa before spending 10 years in Switzerland working at IMD, one of Europe’s top business schools. Throughout my journey, I’ve embraced career changes as thrilling opportunities for growth and transformation.
In 2011, a move to the UK inspired me to give up the 9 to 5 rut and return to self-employment and create my coaching business. My vision was clear – I wanted to collaborate with extraordinary individuals from diverse backgrounds and shine a light on their inherent greatness, showing them and the world everything they are and could be. I wanted to help them discover their potential and reignite their confidence, breaking free from the constraints holding them back. Having lived, worked, and travelled in numerous countries, I’ve become acutely aware of the factors that set us apart. Yet, no matter our differences, we all encounter similar challenges and grapple with expectations and pressures that often weigh us down. We all want the freedom to choose our own path, to live our true selves and break the limitations that hold us back.
Skiing has been a big part of my life. The cold, the snow, the physical demands and the beauty of the natural landscape have been a huge source of inspiration and given me valuable time for reflection and personal development. This to me…is freedom.
This freedom is directly transferred into my coaching. It is through reflection, challenging ourselves and pushing through boundaries that we gain freedom from the constraints holding us back, from self-imposed limitations, and from fear. Through moments of introspection and action, we can develop and see the beauty in ourselves and those around us.
